PSN Down Indefinitely

Perhaps you've noticed as you've tried to log onto PlayStation Network that you just can't get in. Well, you're not the only one. It seems that due to external invasion, we're going to have to deal with some outages of PlayStation Network until the problem can be solved. Who knows how long this is going to take but, its definitely going to effect things.

Xbox 360 gamers, you're still good. Your Gears of War 3 Beta is still rolling along as planned. Never-the-less, we understand the position of the console wars and the opinionated, but we would hope that we as gamers regardless of what console we game on might try to feel for and understand what's going on because truth be told, it effects or is going to effect us all.

Now we realize that nobody has died but, for those that are a little out of the loop. Some months ago, George Hotz (I'm not going to give him the satisfaction of uttering his ridiculous nickname) has cracked the PlayStation 3 hardware and posted his discoveries on the web. Since that day, online gaming for PlayStation gamers have never been the same. "But it just effects PlayStation gamers. What do I care? Serves them right for buying a PlayStation." Well, the PlayStation 3 was toted as being the mother of all cracks if it could be done, which it has. Other hackers such as 'Anonymous' have decided to put their right foot in and shake it all about claiming that they're helping gamers get what they really want out of their console, but it turns out, that they're ruining the experience of us all. Is Sony going to be the only to fall subject to this?

For now, it may remain Sony, but feed ones ego enough or ignite the flames of a fanboy and they'll come right after you too. Its like the saying "Misery loves company." Fire one up, and they'll find a crack over anything. If they want to invade and then ruin Xbox 360 enough, then it only takes enough time in Grandma's basement and a few hundred cans of mountain dew and that's it. Its all about one small nerdy individual finding a sense of power over a larger corporation for whatever reason that makes them feel big. Bitterness toward something, for the PS3 and Sony, it seems it was the removal of Linux that has everyone steamed up. But, once they succeed and its out to the world, suddenly "we're getting attention. We're being recognized. We have to more to keep the spotlight on us." At some point, you trip and foul up. But what they're purpose is, is only turning their "gaming brethren" against them. Sony and its PlayStation 3 and its gamers thought it was indestructible, but now its all a mess.

Anonymous that claimed an attack on the PlayStation Network like Cyber Terrorists are denying this one, but this has gotten ridiculous and we're paying the price for their bitterness. Its got to stop! So for now, we'll all be a few days without some PlayStation Network to a couple of cyber school yard bullies.
