Fans of the super chill Animal Crossing franchise don't have many options outside of Nintendo consoles. Look, Pocket Camp doesn't count, okay? To fill that void on PC, Robert Tatnell is bringing a very familiar looking game called Hokko Life to Steam sometime this year.
Just how similar is it? You be the judge:
With those comparisons in mind, there are some interesting features that make Hokko Life unique. One is the ability to build the village up into a proper town, constructing and decorating new homes for neighbors. You can also further customize furniture, and there will be other design and sharing features along with some in-game events in the future.
The first stop for Hokko Life is Early Access this year, followed by a full release that's currently planned for the first half of 2021. You can keep an eye on it on Steam.
